When my husband and I were in Colorado Springs, we decided to play golf at the famous Broadmoor East course, which will be the home to the 2011 US Women’s Golf Open. The course was a little challenging but we both played it well. Occasionally we saw deer, other small animals and waterfalls, which added to the beauty of the course.
From Colorado Springs we drove to Denver and had lots of options. Should we play a city course? Should we go to Golden and play on a course where the dinosaurs roamed? Or should we play on a course that had red rocks and scenic views of the mountains? We chose the later and were not disappointed!
Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, Colorado, was one of the nicest, if not the nicest course I had ever played. Red rocks surrounded the course and in some instances even became part of the course. Each hole was more breathtaking then the next with so much character. I had to take a step back, look around and breathe before I swung my club.
Here are some photos that I would like to share with you…. I hope you enjoy as much as I did….
