Kristie Galvani, Senior VP at HJMT, called me up today in our Rochester office so excited. “What’s going on?” I asked.
“Two good things,” she said. “We just found out that we are finalists in the Best of Long Island competition, but I’m not sure what that means so I’ll email Marlene McDonnell from LIBN and find out.”
“Nice,” I said. “What’s the other thing?”
“Your blog was chosen as Blog of the Year finalist in the Stevie Awards for Women in Business,” she said. “And they will be presenting the winner at the Marriott Marquis in New York City on November 14th!”
“Really?” I said. “Wow…. That’s pretty cool….” In the background, I hear Lisa Gordon screaming! “I’m so excited this is great news!” she said.
Yeah… it is great news…. Thanks to all you readers and friends out there for all your support!
