Grandparents are special. Whenever I think of my grandparents, I smile. Both grandmothers were amazingly strong women. They definitely made an impact on my life. I was lucky to have my paternal grandmother until I was 35. She was my rock and I could talk with her about anything and everything.
So, when the Russo Law Group, Long Island’s Signature Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Special Needs firm, told me about this new, “Greatest Grandparent Contest,” I was all in it!
The Contest
The Russo Law Group is hosting this heartwarming contest to celebrate the love and impact of grandparents. The contest, aptly titled “The Greatest Grandparent,” aims to highlight the profound influence grandparents have on their grandchildren’s lives.
Running from August 1st through August 31st, 2023, participants will have the opportunity to share their unique grandparenting experiences and compete for the title of “The Greatest Grandparent.”
What You Can WIN!
1st PRIZE: 2 orchestra tickets to WICKED on Broadway for Sat, October 14th at 2pm and a commemorative certificate.
2nd PRIZE: $100 Friendly’s gift card and a commemorative certificate.
3rd PRIZE: “Movie Night” themed gift basket and a commemorative certificate.
Winners will be announced on National Grandparents Day, Sunday, Sept 10th.
How to Enter the Contest
Entering the contest is simple and straightforward. All you need to do is submit a photo along with an essay of 250 words or less to [email protected]. Your essay should describe why you should be considered “The Greatest Grandparent.” Be sure to include specific examples of how being a grandparent has impacted your life and/or the lives of your grandchildren.
Submission Criteria
To ensure fair competition, the contest has set forth specific criteria for eligibility:
- Nominees must be legal grandparents, either biological, adoptive, or step-grandparents.
- Nominees must reside in the United States.
