I’ll tell you why… I went to Blue Ocean Wealth Solutions to take photos of the Thanksgiving feast. My firm does publicity for Blue Ocean and I often find myself the designated photographer.
When I got there, I was amazed at how much food they had. Everyone brought in a dish from the country in which they came from. You name it, there was a food from that country. It was unreal! I think there were nearly 100 dishes there from all around the world!
The firm had so much food they invited the entire building for lunch!
I spoke with a few of the staff members who made or purchased food from their country of origin. They were so proud of their heritage and that moved me. It made me feel proud.
Frank Scalese, General Agent of Blue Ocean Wealth Solutions, welcomed everyone. After Frank spoke, one of the members sang a heartfelt song about our country and its diversity. Then Bing Cheng said a prayer. After that, it was time to eat.
One of the staff members even made a Blue Ocean Logo Blueberry Pie!
I told Tracey, the marketing consultant there, that I wasn’t going to eat. But, after I saw all of that amazing food plus the desserts, I couldn’t resist!
Seeing everyone so happy and feeling the energy of the staff, made me smile. This seems like an amazing place to work and an amazing company to do business with…. Happy Thanksgiving!
