There are hundreds of social networking sites on the Internet. I feel like every time I look, there is another social networking site!
If you are a digital native (someone born after 1984), then social networking sites is something that you grew up with. You understand the whole premise behind them and you find yourself on them quite often.
However, a digital immigrant (someone born before 1984), may not understand them. The digital immigrant probably doesn’t understand what the value is and why so many communities are created each day.
But it’s important to know that social media is one of the fastest ways to build business because you are building a community within each social networking site that you are on.
So how do you determine which ones are right for you?
What are you looking for? Business relationships? Social relationships? Or just a place to network? There’s a social networking site for everyone.
