Happy Fall everyone! The leaves are changing and the cold and crisp air is certainly here to stay, especially so in Rochester. People are bundled up in sweaters, scarves and fleeces and out and about at local orchards picking apples, drinking mulled cider and enjoying the change of season. My husband and his co-workers have even reported seeing the first snowflake at their offices on the 19th floor in downtown Rochester.
Since I last guest blogged, we’ve been plugging away with new business and client meetings and I’m very happy to say that Rochester has been the third home of HJMT for more than one year now. I’ve been lucky to be able to travel downstate to meet with the Long Island and Manhattan staffs and have the pleasure of having Hilary back in town again at the end of October. (Yes, that means the Rochester Networking Mixers are back! – Next one on Monday, October 26th at 5pm at Aja Noodle in Brighton.)
Although this past year has been difficult economically for everyone, I get the sense that things are on the rise again. I remain hopeful that the energy and good business opportunities that are starting to emerge on Long Island and Manhattan, will begin to head upstate by the end of this year.
I’ve really enjoyed my time back at home and can’t imagine being anywhere else. And, I’m ready to keep pushing our firm and help small, medium and large companies with their public relations, marketing and social media needs…Not because I am employed by HJMT, but because I really believe that we as a firm can make a difference for your business! I hope to see you all soon face to face and please feel free to email me if you’d like to grab a cup of coffee and catch up!
