Matthew Chirico, 26, is an independent filmmaker from Staten Island. He recently sent me his video to post on my blog and after viewing it, I agreed.
When asked Matt Chirico, why he made this movie, he said, “I felt I needed to document how much this Coronavirus disaster has changed NYC. New York is now on pause and has turned the city that never sleeps into an empty and desolate city. “

Matt Chirico is a videographer and photographer based in NYC specializing in music artist recaps, event teasers & after movies, wedding movies, event/commercial videography, & branding/promotional content. Within the past 10 years of turning a hobby to a passion, he captures & creates visual stories for others.
He told me on a recent interview that he “typically films EDM DJs and weddings along with any kind of event or promotional content. And then I’ll do my own personal projects like this or this past one that focuses on Staten Island. You can watch that one below:
