What is Karma? According to Wikipedia, Karma is the effects of all deeds that actively create past, present, and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one’s own life, and the pain and joy it brings to him/her and others.
Do you believe in Karma? I never really thought about it nor did I every really care about it until one day, not too long ago, a staff member told me about Karma.
I always tried to do the right thing and make sure that I felt good about what I did. If I saw a dollar lying on the ground, I would look around and ask the people close to me if they lost a dollar.
Through the years, I’ve found a lot of interesting things, diamond earings, bracelets, money and other things and I would always give it to someone who I thought would get it to the right person who lost it. Once I decided to keep a five dollar bill I found on the ground and then felt so guilty about it!
Today, I was sitting in my office and Mike K. said “Karma.”
“Why did he yell out Karma,” I asked Lori Alexy.
“I don’t know,” she said.
I’m not sure if I believe in Karma, but I do know that I believe in doing the right thing and doing right by people who do right by me. Karma, do you believe?
