I walk around with hand sanitizer, washing my hands constantly. I also try to drink as much water as possible and take a daily every day vitamin but when people are sick around you, it’s nearly impossible to stay well.
So when the makers of Golden Blossom Honey reached out to me with some interesting recipe’s on how to feel better, I thought they were appropriate to share with you.
Cinnamon Fennel Green Tea
A spicy green tea loaded with antioxidants and honey to help you through the winter.
Ingredients
4 bags green tea
4 sticks cinnamon
1 teaspoon fresh gingerroot, grated
1 teaspoon lemon zest
4 seeds fennel
4 cups cold water
4 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
Directions
In a medium saucepan, combine the first six ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and steep for 5-6 minutes. Strain into another medium saucepan. Stir in honey and divide evenly into four mugs. Serve hot as an invigorating infusion. Yields: 4 (1 cup) servings
Honey and Sage Cold Syrup
Relieve a sore throat and other cold symptoms with this home treatment infused with sage.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon chopped fresh sage
1/3 cup, plus 1 tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Directions
Steep sage in a cup filled with boiling water for 10 minutes. Strain out sage and allow the mixture to cool. Place honey in a jar and add vinegar and sage water. Shake well. Take 2 teaspoons every hour.
I tasted the Golden Blossom Honey and in addition to being genuine natural pure honey, it absolutely tastes delicious.
I guess when they say “a teaspoon of honey helps the medicine go down,” they weren’t kidding.
I hope you stay well all winter and enjoy your Golden Blossom Honey with some nice hot tea…
