Although it’s April 2, I got you to look at the blog! No, the Islanders did not beat Canada. In fact, the Canadiens scored 5 to 1 crushing the Islanders.
We felt a little out of place at the Nassau Coliseum tonight. There seemed to be more “Habs” fans than Islander fans in the audience.
To top it all off, when we left the stadium, we went to get a bottle of water.
“That will be $4.50 please,” the counter woman said to us.
“You’ve got to be kidding right?” I asked. “It costs less than $4 for a whole case of water….”
