From 4 to 6:30 practically every day, Brasserie Persil in Oceanside, NY has a happy hour, with half-priced drinks and appetizers.
Beer, wine and cocktails are all half-priced ranging from $5 to $7 and the appetizers are all $7. These range from Tuna Tartar to a pot of mussels. You can even get oysters for $1.50 or baby lamb chops for $14.
If you want, you can order from the regular menu, which is awesome too. The prices are reasonable and I’ve never had a bad meal there! It’s always exceptional. Some of my favorite dishes on the main menu include Trout Almondine, Sole Meuniere, the French Onion Soup, the Duck A L’Orange and the rack of ribs is delicious! I especially love the escargot and special salads.
Their chef knows how to prepare a plate.
Servers and Bartenders are Great
The servers are exceptional too. Everyone including, Hassan, the owner, is extremely friendly and hospitable. When I go there, I feel like it’s my extended family!
I highly recommend Brasserie Persil for both their happy hour and their regular menu. (Interestingly, they have wine tastings and whiskey nights as well.
