Funny Things Happen Everywhere!
I was at the New York Islander’s game on Saturday night with my son. They were playing the Buffalo Sabres. The score was 1 nothing, Islanders. We were sitting right behind the Sabres goal. All of a sudden, a puck was hit into the goal. Instead of going in the goal, it flew above the glass and I swore it was coming right for my head!
What did I do? I hid behind a complete stranger who was sitting next to me. When the moment was over, he turned to me and smiled. “You’re protecting yourself and not your son,” he said and laughed.
I was so embarrassed that my first instinct was to hide my head behind a stranger! My son loved the idea of the puck flowing through the air. He was hoping to catch it…
