Today, I worked from our Manhattan office. Hilary had an appointment in the afternoon and I stepped out to work in another area at that time so she had privacy. I sat in a common area on our floor and could hear EVERYONE’S conversations who left their door open.
One particular conversation had me paying more attention to the conversation, than my work! The woman in the office called Verizon three times for Blackberry support. She was trying to set up her bosses email and it was not working. At one point she SHOUTED her boss’s name and password to the customer representative that was trying to help her. She even had a three-way call with herself, Verizon and her boss.
It just has me thinking, when you have others do you work for you, are they careless with your private information? Would they have their door open for all to hear as they shout their passwords… I would think not.
