A Pain In The Neck

I have a pain in the neck. I literally have a bad pain in the neck! It’s been like this for two days. On day 1, I took advil, alieve and pain medication. Nothing helped. I even rubbed the minty Bengay over the area, and still nothing.

On Day 2, I woke up and figured it would be all gone. But no. It was there in full force throughout the day.

“I need a chiropractor,” I said to my husband.

On the way home from Lori Alexy’s home (I left my blackberry at the office and she took it home with her), we stopped at the new Walgreens in Long Beach on Long Beach Road. My daughter needed some rubbing alcohol for her newly pierced ears and I decided to walk down the aisles.

In aisle 8, I noticed a neck and shoulder massager with heat! Made by Homedics, the neck and shoulder massager had a flexible fit and I thought it would be the perfect solution to my problem. Twenty dollars out and five minute later I was home in my bed with my new Homedics Neck and Shoulder Massager.

Now as I lay here, vibrating and sweating in one particular spot on my neck, I’m thinking that maybe, just maybe I’m feeling a little bit better?
