Playing Golf in the Fall…

A few weeks ago, I played golf with two friends at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, Long Island. The leaves were turning on almost every tree.

As we swung our clubs, the ball flew in the air and jetted out toward the most beautiful foliage.

I started to think about how in some parts of the country, the fall foliage starts early. We get a drop of it in late October/early November.

Although it was hard to find your ball, if you didn’t hit it straight onto the fairway, the leaves were  magnificent colors of maroon, orange, yellow and red.

Thinking about the fun we had, I wondered if there were other activities that you can do outside, besides running or walking, where you get to see the fall foliage.
