I’ve had my blog now since March 2008. At some point, I tried using Google ads , but found them to be more of a bother than an income stream.
When I went to the Blogher Conference in San Diego this past summer, I found out about affiliate marketing. Some of my friends from Social Media Club of Long Island (#SMCLI) also told me about it, but I never tried until now.
You will notice that on all of my blog posts, certain words are highlighted. If you click on the link, it will go to something that you can purchase on Amazon that relates to the word highlighted. If you do make a purchase, I’ll be able to make a few cents. When those cents grow, I’ll put it towards this blog to enhance it.
You may want to click on the links because some of the words lead you to very funny products. Often when I click on the links after my designer posts it, I laugh so hard. One time I even fell off my chair. No, I’m serious. I really fell off my chair.
Anyway, I just wanted to make sure you knew about this.
