Abby Jiminez Trilogy That Are Also Stand Alone Books

All three books

Abby Jimenez has crafted a delightful trio of novels that provide readers with heartwarming stories and interconnected characters, making them perfect for those who enjoy light, fast reads with happy endings. While I read “Part of Your World,” “Yours Truly,” and “Just for Summer” out of order, I recommend enjoying them sequentially for a richer understanding of the characters’ journeys and the seamless weaving of narratives across the books.

Just for Summer

In “Just for Summer,” Abby Jimenez introduces a unique curse that has become a viral sensation. Justin, the bearer of this curse, finds that every woman he dates meets her soulmate immediately after they break up. In a similar predicament, Emma decides to team up with Justin to break the cycle. Their plan is simple: date, split up, and hopefully cancel out their curses to find true love.

Emma likes Justin and wants to take it a little further. So, she switches her nursing assignment to Minnesota, where she and her best friend see dating Justin as a golden opportunity, especially renting a remote island cottage on Lake Minnetonka.

What starts as a summer fling becomes more complicated when Emma’s challenging mother arrives, and Justin becomes the guardian of his three siblings. As they navigate these unexpected challenges, genuine feelings emerge between them, making them wonder if fate has finally aligned them as the perfect match.

Part Of Your World

“Part of Your World” introduces us to Alexis Montgomery and Daniel Grant. Alexis, a talented ER doctor from a prestigious family, feels trapped in her life of expectations and obligations. On the other hand, Daniel is a small-town carpenter living a simple, fulfilling life. When their paths cross, sparks fly, and Alexis is torn between her family’s expectations and her heart. The story beautifully explores themes of self-discovery and the courage to embrace love, even when it defies societal norms.

Yours Truly

In “Yours Truly,” we follow the story of Briana Ortiz, a tough-on-the-outside doctor with a warm heart, and Jacob Maddox, a new doctor in town. The story begins with Briana’s dislike for Jacob, but a friendship blossoms as they start exchanging notes, leading to something deeper. Jacob’s gentle nature and Briana’s fiery personality make for a captivating dynamic, and the book deftly handles issues of mental health, long term illness, and personal growth. As Briana and Jacob navigate their personal and professional lives, they learn about vulnerability, trust, and the transformative power of love.

My Thoughts…

One of the benefits of reading these books is seeing familiar faces reappear in each storyline, creating a sense of community and continuity across the novels. Jimenez’s talent for crafting relatable characters and humorous dialogue shines throughout, making these books a joy to read. While the stories are somewhat predictable, with endings you can foresee, there’s a comforting pleasure in their predictability. They offer that warm, fuzzy feeling that comes with a satisfying conclusion where love triumphs and happiness prevails.

However, please note that each book can also stand alone.

Abby Jimenez’s books are perfect for anyone looking for a quick escape into tales of romance, self-exploration, and personal growth. The interconnected storylines and recurring characters add depth and familiarity, enhancing the reading experience.

If you enjoy novels that blend humor with heartfelt moments and are looking for a series that guarantees a smile by the end, these books are a must-read. Grab a cozy blanket, a cup of tea, and indulge in the delightful world of Abby Jimenez.

P.S. I read all three on my new kindle so I grabbed a screen shot of my Goodreads page.
