I usually take car service to the airport. But today, I decided to save a little money and drive. I parked in the long term parking at JFK International Airport and took the Airtrain to the JetBlue terminal, terminal 5. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. Walking from the Airtrain to the terminal was actually quite lovely with nice views of NYC!
Last month when I traveled to Rochester, I was in a totally different building. I didn’t realize that the new terminal was now open. WOW… that’s all I have to say. The new terminal is state of the art, fully equipped with wireless internet service, television terminals, upscale shops and more! I walked in and was really impressed!
An announcement just came on, “JetBlue is no longer giving away headsets. You must use your own. If you don’t have your own, you could purchase one for a dollar.”
The only problem with the terminal is the coffee situation. I had to walk all the way to terminal 6 to get a cup of coffee. Funny thing is, I met a neighbor who I always bump into when I travel. He was on vacation to Florida and I’m heading to Rochester for a bunch of meetings with Lisa Gordon.
My only hope is that when I come back tomorrow night, I can find my car!
