I don’t know about you, but I’m stressed a lot more than I care to talk about. Paul Rizzo’s new book, Listful Living – A List-Making Journey to a Less Stressed You, can help.
When Rizzo’s publicist contacted me about reviewing the book, I said, “I know Paula. Of course, I’ll check out her new book!”
Listful Living
Listful Living is a handy guide to help you organize your life and figure out the direction in which you want to go.
It includes three sections.
In part one, Paula Rizzo helps you realize where you are at the moment. She calls this a self-discovery phrase. She says, “just record what you’re doing right now.”
Part two, which she calls the Blue-Sky Intentions, helps you look into the future you. Here, she tries to get you to look at the big picture. She tells the reader to not worry at this point about how you are going to get there. “Just put it down,” she writes.
Then part three is the final stage, which Rizzo calls the Passport to Stress-Free Living. This is the actual road map of how you will get to the place you want to be. In this section, she has tools to help make your dream come true with less stress and more productivity.
Inspirational Quotes
Spread throughout the book are various inspirational quotes from famous people. “You become what you believe,” is one from Oprah Winfrey. Or, “when you say yes to others, make sure you are not saying no to yourself,” Paulo Coehlo.
One of my biggest flaws is that I want to make everyone happy and by doing that, I neglect myself. When Paula Rizzo writes in Listful Living, say out loud, “I don’t have to say yes to everything everyone asks me to do. Life will go on. Period, the end,” it felt as if she was talking to me!
Listful Living by Paula Rizzo is a great book for those who aren’t sure what direction to go in or for those who want to change their lives. You can pick it up on Amazon for $15.26. This is Rizzo’s second book.
